As you know A lot of the orthopedic shoes available are pretty boring. They are mainly sneakers and walking shoes. However, there are other options available for shoes that are a little bit more dressy but still fit into the orthopedic category.One of the companies that has some good options for orthopedic dress shoes is Spring Step. Their Fawn shoe comes in Brown Croco, Brown Leather, Black Croco, Black Leather, and Bone Leather. They are padding with a shock absorbing sole and have a 1 1/2 inch heel. These are a great option for when you want to wear skirts or dresses, or if you need to dress nicely for work.

Spring Step also makes a few options for orthopedic boots, which is nice for when it is cold out. The Alice is a waterproof black or brown leather boot that is about ankle height. The Anita is available in brown leather and is also an ankle height waterproof boot, though this has an alp-black hook-and-loop closure. Finally, the Bunny is a mid-calf black leather boot. All of these options are good for when the weather gets a bit cold out and are meant to keep your feet comfortable and dry.

There is a strap that buckles around your ankle and a wide strap that goes over the top of your foot and fastens with velcro. These look similar to a lot of popular non-orthopedic sandals that are available, so they are very stylish. Another option for more attractive every day wear shoes is the Propet Twilite Walker. This is a cute mary jane style shoe with two hook and loop straps. It comes in Aqua Blue Nubuck, Black Leather, Navy Smooth, Plum Leather, and Terra Smooth (a tan color). The aqua and terra colors have a white sole, while the other options have a black sole which looks a bit nicer.Although many of the options for orthopedic shoes are black, with options for white, tan, and brown also abundant, there are a lot of other color options if you look around for them.
