Neew JimmyChoo Sneakers
|
Jimmy Choo is taking things down a notch, literally, from sky-high stilettos to flat sneakers and trainers. The stilettos and heels aren’t going anywhere, of course, but 8 sneaker designs made an unexpected appearance in amongst the towering sandals and boots of Jimmy Choo’s pre-fall 2010 collection. Very urban glam, the shoes are mostly suede and snakeskin and feature both low-top and high-top versions. Expected to go over well with fashion experts and the public, it’s great to see a designer stretching into new areas. Sure Lanvin and Pierre Hardy have done high-tops - very successfully we might add - and the trend has gone global for spring. But we really didn’t expect the uber-glam Jimmy Choo to be stripped of its 5 inch heels and compete with the urban gang. Along with towering snakeskin sandals and red carpet stilettos, Choo’s pre-fall 2010 collection has the addition of 8 sneakers. The low (£295) and high-top (£395) suede and snake trainers bring Choo’s reputation for staggering heights down to earth with a bump. We predict them to be the favourite down-time footwear of fashion editors.
he flat shoe trend of last season has become the high-top trainer trend for spring. Shipping information: Free Shipping Both Ways! |
