IMG, the world’s premier sports and lifestyle management and marketing firm, acquired Australian Fashion Innovators (AFI) in October 2005 and with it the region’s premier fashion event, Mercedes Australian Fashion Week. This acquisition also included the management and production of several events throughout Asia. IMG FASHION Asia Pacific is the name of the newly formed company.
